Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead IT and digital transformation initiatives in Mahikeng, North West. You will guide end-to-end projects from initiation through closure, leveraging agile and waterfall approaches to deliver innovative technology solutions that drive growth and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and a track record of delivering complex tech programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related field.
Minimum 6 years' experience managing IT and digital projects.
Proven track record of delivering technology solutions and digital transformations.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycles.
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution and delivery of IT and digital projects within scope, time and budget.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and success criteria per business goals.
Develop and manage detailed project plans with resources, risks and budget control.
Coordinate between IT, business units and external vendors for project success.
Monitor progress and implement timely corrective actions.
Report status, risks and outcomes to stakeholders including senior management in Mahikeng.
