Placements24 in Welkom, South Africa, is seeking a Project Manager for capital projects. The role manages projects from tender to finalisation, controls budgets and timelines, and oversees site operations and staff to ensure safety and quality.

You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor equipment, and prepare client reports while ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. A formal qualification is an advantage, with proven PM experience in heavy industry.

Formación

• Grade 12 minimum; a formal qualification will be an advantage.
• Proven project management experience in construction, earthmoving, mining or plant hire.
• Strong knowledge of earthmoving equipment and site operations.
• Experience managing Supervisors, Operators, Drivers and subcontractors.
• Experience with tenders/RFQs, project costing and budget management.
• Strong leadership, organisational, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• A valid drivers licence.
