• Relevant Project Management qualification.
• Mechanical Engineering background highly advantageous.
• 5–10 years' extensive Mechanical Piping and Structural experience.
• 5–10 years' extensive Concrete and Earthworks experience.
• Petro-Chemical experience is mandatory, preferably within Fuel Depots and Refineries.
• MS Projects – Confirmed proficiency.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
• Own reliable laptop.
• Medically fit and able to work on project sites.
• Absolute sober habits – Zero Tolerance.
• Strong commitment to a positive Safety Culture.
• Willingness to travel and sleep out for extended periods.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Project Management qualification.

• Mechanical Engineering background and relevant qualifications will be highly advantageous.
• 5–10 years' extensive Mechanical Piping and Structural experience.
• 5–10 years' extensive Concrete and Earthworks experience.
• Petro-Chemical experience is mandatory, preferably within Fuel Depots and Refineries.
• Fully conversant with MS Projects – Mandatory.
• Excellent computer literacy.
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport.
• Own reliable laptop.
• Medically fit and able to work on project sites.
• Absolute sober habits – Zero Tolerance.
• Strong commitment to a positive Safety Culture.
• Willingness to travel and sleep out for extended periods.

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Extensive knowledge of product pipework.
• Strong knowledge of Civil Works, including layer works, concrete formwork, reinforcing and bricklaying.
• Ability to interpret and understand isometric drawings.
• Knowledge of API 650 & 653, ASME IX, API 347 and API 1104 will be advantageous.
• Extensive project planning experience with the ability to meet stringent deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions to clients.
• Ability to liaise professionally with senior-level clients and attend site meetings.
• Proven ability to monitor project progress and manage project budgets.
• Strong reporting skills and ability to report to Senior Management.
