Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead pipeline infrastructure projects in Stellenbosch and surrounding regions. You will oversee all phases from feasibility to commissioning, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of Oil & Gas regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of PM experience in pipeline/infrastructure projects.
• Strong grasp of PM methodologies and tools.
• Experience negotiating and managing contracts with vendors/contractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Oil & Gas regulations and best practices.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of pipeline infrastructure projects in the Stellenbosch area and surrounding regions. This role requires exceptional organizational and leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design to construction and commissioning, working closely with engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders within the Oil & Gas sector. This is a key leadership position driving critical infrastructure development.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end management of pipeline construction projects.
• Develop project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively.

Requirements
