To oversee and drive the successful delivery of projects managed through the Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, budget, and stakeholder expectations.
Project Planning and Administration
- Develop comprehensive project plans aligned with approved scope, timelines, and budget.
- Adhere to governance frameworks suited to project size and type.
- Create and manage a detailed work breakdown structure.
- Identify key stakeholders and define roles using the RACI model.
- Maintain an active risk register and mitigation strategy.
- Establish and implement a clear communication plan.
- Regularly report on project progress relative to timelines and cost.
- Ensure thorough documentation of engagements, tasks, and deliverables aligned to project success.
Project Delivery
- Manage project scope in line with the approved business case.
- Define and agree upon acceptance criteria with all delivery stakeholders.
- Schedule and conduct regular project status meetings with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor task completion and milestone achievement, addressing issues proactively.
- Identify delivery risks and escalates where necessary to avoid project delays.
- Ensure continuous stakeholder commitment to project deadlines.
- Submit weekly project status reports to key stakeholders and steering committee members.
Resource Management
- Develop and maintain a responsibility matrix for all stakeholders.
- Assign, communicate, and monitor responsibilities, ensuring accountability and progress tracking.
- Manage supplier onboarding processes and establish performance expectations.
- Oversee supplier engagement to ensure adherence to agreed deliverables.
- Act as a project resource in customer-facing projects, ensuring time tracking for billable services.
- Measure project outcomes against success criteria for a minimum of three months post-completion.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including marketing, product, business analysis, DevOps, support, and learning & development teams.

Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- 3-6 years experience managing projects in a professional environment
