Job summary

Lyon and Partners in Durban Westville seeks a Project Manager with construction experience in transmission lines and substations. You will oversee the construction management effort ensuring SHERQ compliance and alignment with safety, health, environmental, risk and quality objectives.

The role requires a B-Degree or B-Tech in Electrical or Civil, SACPCMP registration, and around 5 years' relevant experience. On-site site visits are part of the duties with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• B-Degree / B-Tech in Electrical or Civil engineering.
• Professional SACPCMP registration (Pr.CPM).
• 5 years' experience in Substations and Lines environment.
• Experience in power generation projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction project management effort within SHERQ requirements.
• Ensure project completion within overall construction objectives.
• Coordinate on-site activities and safety compliance.

• Laptop, 3G, Wi-Fi, Mobile, PPE, 4 or 2x4 vehicle for site visits
