Job summary

Rheinmetall Denel Munition invites applications for a Project Management Intern to learn and assist in monitoring capital projects and expenses under the guidance of the Executive Manager, Capital Projects. The role focuses on timelines, governance documentation, and reporting.

You'll develop reports, registers and project minutes, gain exposure to procurement and financial procedures, and contribute to governance, change control, and record-keeping in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• NQF 6 in Project Management or equivalent qualification.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
• Strong administration skills.
• Ability to manage and control.
• Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

What We Are Looking For

Purpose of the Job

The Project Management Intern will learn and assist in the monitoring, coordinating and controlling of capital projects and expenses under the guidance of the Executive Manager, Capital Projects. In addition, the Project Intern will monitor and assist in ensuring the adherence to deadlines and project milestones. The Project Intern will further assist in the preparation of reports, registers, project minutes and various other Project Governance Documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Executive manager and Capital Projects Team to develop and maintain reports, registers and various Governance Documentation.
• Assist with monitoring and coordinating Capital Projects and Expenses.
