Howden Africa Compressors & Turbines Division in Sasolburg is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, cost, coordinate and manage workshop repair and field service projects for overhaul, repair, revamp, manufacturing, installation, and modernisation of rotating equipment.

You will lead project coordination to ensure highest customer satisfaction, manage interfaces across quotation, order entry, staffing, procurement, execution, invoicing and collections, and travel to clients as required.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering.
• PMI Project Management Professional Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Technical knowledge of rotating equipment and related machinery.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and EHS requirements.
• Strong client-facing communication and coordination skills.
• Valid Code 08 driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, cost, coordinate and manage workshop and field service projects.
• Overhaul, repair, revamp, manufacture, install and modernise rotating equipment.
• Lead project coordination to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interface with clients and internal teams across quotation, staffing, purchasing, execution and invoicing.
• Prepare costings and proposals; manage time, cost and quality targets.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with safety and cost requirements.
• Capture project data in ERP and report on progress and performance.
• Travel to client sites and subcontractors as required.
