Network Finance is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to oversee large-scale mechanical engineering projects in mining and mineral processing environments. You will drive the full lifecycle from handover to commissioning, coordinating across engineering, procurement, site teams, vendors and clients to meet demanding deadlines.

Qualificações

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' Project Engineering experience in Mining, Mineral Processing, Heavy Industry or Plant Construction environments.
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with MS Project and other project management tools.
• Exposure to 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D or similar.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full lifecycle execution of engineering projects from handover through to commissioning.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, drafting, procurement, site teams, vendors and clients.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources and critical deliverables.
• Review engineering drawings, piping layouts, structural designs and 3D models.
• Oversee procurement activities, vendor evaluations and technical compliance reviews.
• Lead FAT and ensure equipment quality standards are achieved.
• Manage mechanical installation, structural steel erection and equipment alignment on site.
• Support SAT, commissioning activities and project close-out documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• BEng or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' Project Engineering experience within:
  • Mining
  • Mineral Processing
  • Heavy Industry
  • Plant Construction environments
• Experience managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project
• Exposure to 3D design software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar
• Valid driver's liscence and own vehicle
• Willingness to travel to mine sites when required

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle execution of engineering projects from handover through to commissioning
• Coordinate activities between engineering, drafting, procurement, site teams, vendors, and clients
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and critical deliverables
• Review engineering drawings, piping layouts, structural designs, and 3D models
• Oversee procurement activities, vendor evaluations, and technical compliance reviews
• Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and ensure equipment quality standards are achieved
• Manage mechanical installation, structural steel erection, and equipment alignment on site
• Support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning activities, and project close-out documentation
