Job summary

Taloc Projects is seeking a PROJECT COORDINATOR QUANTITY SURVEY to join our team in Pretoria. The role focuses onTender analysis, quantity take-offs, and subcontractor management to ensure accurate cost estimation and robust bid submissions.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction experience, with strong analytical, numerical, and database skills in Excel and estimating tools. You will contribute to cost control, risk assessment, and value engineering throughout projects.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in estimating construction work, tendering, project performance management and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Tender Analysis: Review tenders and project specifications to define the full scope of work.
• Quantity Take-offs: Calculate exact quantities for materials, labour hours, and machinery needed.
• Subcontractor Management: Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotes from vendors and trade partners.
• Risk & Cost Assessment: Identify potential project risks, factor in contingencies, and develop value engineering options.
• Bid Submission: Compile final cost breakdowns and deliver professional proposal packages before deadlines.

Experience
