Qualifications

• Professional Architect qualification (PrArch) or equivalent.
• 7+ years of architectural practice, with significant healthcare focus.
• Experience managing healthcare construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of healthcare design principles, patient flow, infection control.
• Proficiency in Revit; familiarity with AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of healthcare facilities from concept to construction administration.
• Coordinate with clients, medical professionals, consultants, and contractors to define project requirements and ensure design integrity.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, and specifications, with a focus on healthcare standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare building codes, regulations, and accessibility standards in South Africa.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
