Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from conception through to completion in Richards Bay. You will oversee design teams, coordinate with consultants, ensure delivery on time and within budget, and maintain design quality and technical execution.

This senior role requires strong leadership, client relationship skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects in a collaborative hybrid work model combining office collaboration

Qualifications

• Professional Architect with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

About the Role

Our client seeks a seasoned Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from conception through to completion in Richards Bay. This senior role involves overseeing design teams, coordinating with consultants, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget, and maintaining high standards of design quality and technical execution. You will be instrumental in shaping significant developments and fostering strong client relationships, working within a collaborative hybrid model that balances office-based teamwork with flexible remote work.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate and collaborate with external consultants (engineers, landscape architects, etc.) and internal teams.
• Conduct rigorous quality control checks on all architectural documentation and deliverables.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project.
• Oversee site inspections and construction administration to ensure adherence to design intent.

Requirements

• Professional Architect qualification with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
