About the Role

Our client, a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to community empowerment in Vereeniging , is seeking an experienced and visionary Programme Manager. Key Responsibilities

Lead the strategic planning, design, and execution of empowerment programmes. Manage programme budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and financial accountability. Oversee and mentor a team of programme officers and coordinators. Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organisations. Monitor programme performance, collect data, and produce regular impact reports. Identify new funding opportunities and contribute to proposal development. Ensure programmes are delivered effectively, meeting their objectives and maximising community benefit. Facilitate workshops and training sessions for beneficiaries and staff as needed. Represent the organisation at external meetings, conferences, and events. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in programme design and delivery.

Requirements

Significant experience in programme management, preferably within the non-profit or social development sector. Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects from inception to completion. Strong strategic thinking, planning, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Demonstrated experience in financial management and budget oversight. Proficiency in project management software and virtual collaboration tools. Knowledge of development challenges and opportunities within the Gauteng region. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment. Master's degree in Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. A deep passion for community empowerment and social justice.
