Job summary

Coega Development Corporation Pty in the Eastern Cape seeks a Manager for the Project Accounting Finance Unit to oversee programme accounting, ensure PFMA compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance across programmes. You will lead accountants, coordinate budgeting, and act as the key interface between Finance and Programmes on financial matters.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, CA (SA) preferred, and ERP experience (Oracle/Pastel).

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Financial Management or Accounting.
• CA (SA) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in financial management or accounting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programme revenue, expenditure, cash flow, budgets and GL.
• Interface between Finance and Programmes on financial matters.
• Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annual budget processes.
• Manage internal and client reporting for funding compliance.
• Lead and develop the Programme Accounting team.
• Ensure PFMA compliance and effective internal controls.
• Support audit processes and respond to audit queries.
