• Master's degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in program design, development, and management.
• Expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical approaches.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, including proposal writing and reports.
• In-depth knowledge of the South African education system, especially Cape Town.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to social impact and educational equity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new educational programs and interventions aligned with our client's mission and strategic objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments and research to identify target audiences and priority areas for program development.
• Create detailed program proposals, including goals, objectives, activities, budgets, and evaluation plans.
• Manage the implementation of pilot programs, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
• Develop and refine existing program content and delivery methods to maximize effectiveness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, educators, government bodies, and other educational stakeholders in the Western Cape .
• Oversee program monitoring and evaluation frameworks, collecting and analyzing data to demonstrate impact.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in program design, development, and management, preferably in the non-profit or education sector.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development and pedagogical approaches.
• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in proposal writing and report generation.
• In-depth knowledge of the South African education system and the specific context of Cape Town .
