The University of the Free State invites applications for an Associate Professor/ Professor in Practical Theology with specialisation in Mission Studies/Missiology. The role engages module leadership, curriculum renewal, and active research in the field at Bloemfontein Campus.

Qualifications

• PhD thesis abstract to demonstrate relation to Practical Theology and Mission Studies/Missiology.
• A full undergraduate degree in Theology with Theology as major.

Responsibilities

• Present undergraduate and postgraduate modules in Practical and Missional Theology with focus on Mission Studies/Missiology.
• Contribute to curriculum renewal, assessment and development in the field.
• Teach and assess students using diverse delivery modes and online platforms.
• Conduct research in Practical Theology with emphasis on Mission Studies/Missiology.
