Job summary

The Professional Nurse at Mediclinic Southern Africa collaborates with a multi-professional team to deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care within Scope of Practice regulations and to lead nursing teams for optimal patient care.

This on-site, permanent role requires BLS, nursing plans, infection control, and pharmacology knowledge; diploma or degree in nursing; postgraduate qualifications for specialty units preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma and registration as General Nurse or a 4-year Nursing Diploma/Bachelor of Nursing.
• Postgraduate Advanced Diploma in Midwifery is preferred.
• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing for specialist units if placed there.

• Identify, prevent, and manage risks to ensure patient safety.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
