Job summary

Mediclinic in Ermelo seeks a Professional Nurse to deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care and to lead a multi-professional team for optimal patient outcomes. You will collaborate to maintain high standards of care, safety, and documentation, while guiding staff development and ensuring accurate charting of stock and interventions.

The ideal candidate holds a General Nurse registration with a relevant diploma, and demonstrates strong assessment, pharmacology, and infection control knowledge

Qualifications

• Diploma leading to registration as a General Nurse or a 4-year Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing.
• Basic life support trained and computer literate, with nursing care planning skills.
• Knowledge of infection prevention, nursing processes, and record keeping is required.
• Familiarity with nursing legislation and risk identification practices is expected.

• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (e.g. Critical Care, Emergency Care, Peri-oprative Nursing) if place in a specialist unit
