Job summary

Lesaka Technologies Inc. in Durban is seeking an electronics technician for the Crypto Production team. You will diagnose faults down to component level, build and repair circuit boards, and help move products from the bench to customers.

This hands-on role requires reading schematics, testing with oscilloscopes and multimeters, designing test jigs, loading firmware, and supporting new product development with the production team.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electronic Engineering (Light Current) or higher.
• At least 3 years' experience in a similar technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, microprocessors).
• Excellent soldering and desoldering skills.
• Proven experience designing and building test jigs.
• Computer literacy and ability to read English technical material.

Responsibilities

• Fault-find and repair electronic assemblies at component level.

About the role

We’re looking for a skilled electronics technician to join our Crypto Production team. You’ll work across production, maintenance and new development, diagnosing faults down to component level, building and repairing circuit boards, and helping keep our products moving from the bench to the customer. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems with a scope in one hand and a soldering iron in the other.

What You’ll Do
