Placements24 is seeking a Production Team Lead for their Rustenburg-based facility in North West. The role involves guiding fabricators and machine operators, ensuring on-time, high-quality metal component production, while enforcing safety and fostering a positive team culture.

You will supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement within a hands-on manufacturing environment. This position requires presence on site at the Rustenburg facility.

Competenze

• Proven experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor in a metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of metalworking techniques, blueprint reading, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with CNC machines, welders, and shears.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Experience in Rustenburg area is an advantage.

About the Role

Our client, a well-established leader in metal fabrication and manufacturing, is looking for a skilled and motivated Production Team Lead to join their facility in Rustenburg, North West. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for guiding a team of skilled fabricators and machine operators, ensuring the efficient and high-quality production of custom metal components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in metalworking, excellent leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail. You will play a critical role in meeting production targets, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a positive team dynamic. This position requires you to be fully present at our Rustenburg site, directly supervising daily operations and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing division.
