Job summary

Hlabahlosile in Durban is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production activities, machinery and a production team in steel processing. You will plan labour, monitor performance and ensure targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in a supervisory steel production environment, knowledge of OHS and SAP Job Cards, and a strong ability to lead, plan and communicate across shifts. Durban-based role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 is required.
• National Diploma in Operations Management or related qualification is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years' supervisory experience in steel processing production.
• Strong knowledge of steel processing, automotive steels and related methods.
• Knowledge of OHS Act requirements and quality standards.
• Proficiency with SAP Job Cards, MS Word and MS Excel.
• Valid driver's licence and own transport.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Willingness to work day/night shifts (45 hours) and overtime when required.
