Job summary

The Recruitment Pig in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Shop Floor Supervisor to lead a busy packaging team. You will ensure daily orders flow smoothly, maintain high quality standards, and advance your operational supervisory career on the packaging floor.

You will supervise line activities, assign tasks, verify orders and barcodes, perform spot checks, report breakdowns, maintain tidy stations, and hand over stock to dispatch on completion of each shift.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) with a certificate in Production or Logistics.
• 3–5 years in packaging, assembly, or warehousing.
• At least 2 years leading a shop-floor production team.

Responsibilities

• At least 2 years of proven experience leading a shop-floor production team.
• Familiarity with industrial small parts, scale weighing, and barcode scanning systems.
• Good communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide floor workers.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and great problem-solving skills under pressure.
• A proactive team player who values workplace safety and is eager to learn.
