Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to focus on production planning and scheduling for our Paarl facility. You will develop, implement, and refine production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resources, in a hands-on on-site role.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, with 3–5 years in production planning and strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, capacity planning, and data analysis tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and capacity planning.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and data analysis tools.
Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage detailed production schedules to meet demand while optimizing resources.
Analyze capacity, identify bottlenecks, and propose throughput improvements.
Collaborate with sales, inventory, and procurement to align production plans.
Track production progress and performance against schedules.
Use forecasting data and historical performance to improve planning accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting production schedules.
