Job summary

Trending Talent Solutions seeks a Supply Chain Planner to develop and manage forward production plans balancing forecasted bird supply, customer demand, production capacity and national planning priorities.

This role requires collaboration with Agriculture, Processing, Quality, Distribution and Sales to meet service targets while optimising product mix and profitability. 3–5 years in planning and SAP/SC tools preferred.

The successful candidate will develop and manage forward production plans that balance forecasted bird supply, customer demand, production capacity and national planning priorities. This role requires close collaboration with Agriculture, Processing, Quality, Distribution, Sales and other planning teams to deliver customer service targets while optimising product mix and profitability.

Required Qualifications:

• A relevant Degree or Supply Chain diploma.
• SAPICS qualification would be advantageous.

Required Experience:

• 3-5 years operational experience in Farms Planning, Outbound Supply Chain Planning or Production Planning.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Proactive, accountable and deadline driven.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working under pressure.
• Able to prioritise and plan ahead.
• Confident working with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
• Capable of making sound decisions when complete information is not available.
