Job summary

McCormick South Africa is seeking a Production Planner in Midrand to optimize integrated customer service, commercial planning and production processes within an efficient supply chain.

You will use SAP/Excel to meet demand, monitor inventory and production adherence, manage new product launches, generate reports, and ensure health and safety compliance, collaborating in a matrix structure. This role requires 3–5 years in supply chain, preferably FMCG.

• Management Reports: Generate ad hoc reports as needed.
• Health and Safety: Comply with all regulations and procedures concerning Health and Safety.

Position: Production Planner

McCormick South Africa is looking for a Production Planner with an optimal experience, who will be responsible for integrating customer services, commercial, materials planning and production processes, to give the best output to a customer within an efficient supply chain.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Production Planning: Utilize SAP/Excel to meet demand management requirements, ensuring inventory targets, OEE, allergen compliance, and cost efficiency.
• Effective Communication: Address constraints impacting demand and customer service promptly.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience : Desirably 3-5 years in supply chain roles, preferably with FMCG suppliers. Business reporting experience
• Qualifications : Supply chain degree or equivalent
• Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and analytical abilities. Advanced Excel user.
• Team Player: Collaborate effectively within a matrix structure. Being able to work under pressure.
• ERP Exposure: Familiarity with SAP and advanced level supply chain systems.
