About the Role

Our client, a growing pharmaceutical manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Production Pharmacist to oversee and manage their manufacturing operations in Mahikeng, North West . The Production Pharmacist will be responsible for supervising production activities, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), managing production schedules, and troubleshooting any manufacturing-related issues. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily pharmaceutical production operations, ensuring targets and quality standards are met.

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare production reports, batch records, and other necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with a strong focus on production.
• In-depth knowledge of GMP principles and regulatory requirements applicable to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Proven experience in production planning, process optimization, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
• Strong leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
• Excellent understanding of pharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing technologies.
• Proficiency in batch record management and regulatory documentation.
