Job summary

You will oversee daily production operations, coordinate schedules, and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include managing inventory, budget variances, and collaborating with regulatory bodies to maintain high production efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Ensure that the daily production operations of the plant run efficiently and without disruption.
• Manage production schedules and workflow to meet operational targets.
• Control and monitor the number of carcasses received and liaise with the Meat Board and veterinary services regarding allocations.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and quality control standards.
• Maintain smooth production flow and ensure adherence to all operational standards
• Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities to prevent downtime
• Analyse production-related budget variances and implement corrective actions to address losses or discrepancies
