Job summary

Objective Personnel in South Africa seeks a Production Manager to lead mechanical/industrial operations in FMCG. You will drive daily targets, ensure product quality, and manage production teams on high-volume liquid filling lines.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering qualification and has strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety systems, along with experience across fillers, labellers, conveyors and packaging machinery.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of management experience in FMCG essential.
• Technical and production planning knowledge required.
• Experience with high-volume liquid filling lines.
• Familiarity with fillers, cappers, labellers, conveyors, and packaging machinery.

Requirements

• 5 - 7 Years' management experience within FMCG industry essential.
• Technical and production planning knowledge
• High volume food liquid filling lines
• Understanding of fillers, cappers, labellers, conveyors and packaging machinery
• Managing production teams
• Knowledge of food safety systems and health and safety
• Edible oil experience would be ideal, but we would also consider strong candidates from beverages, sauces, dairy, detergents or similar liquid-filling environments.
