Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a dedicated Production Engineer to manage and optimize oil and gas production facilities from the Centurion base. You will focus on safe, efficient operation, maximize hydrocarbon recovery, and minimize costs while troubleshooting issues and adopting new technologies.
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in production engineering within the Oil & Gas sector, strong knowledge of ESPs and gas lift, and proven ability to analyze data and collaborate with
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Petroleum or Chemical Eng or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in production engineering or oil & gas operations.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and artificial lift methods.
- Experience with production optimization software and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify performance trends.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production rates and recovery.
- Troubleshoot artificial lift systems and processing equipment.
- Conduct field visits to oversee operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare production forecasts, reports, and economic evaluations.
