Job summary

Workforce Staffing - Gauteng seeks an experienced professional to lead long-term planning for new store builds and refurbishments, focusing on brand-aligned space design and customer experience. You will manage a full store pipeline and drive innovative merchandising across the group, across traditional and non-traditional formats.

The role requires 3+ years in visual merchandising or store design (or a marketing degree) and expertise spanning merchandising, branding, and store development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in visual merchandising and/or store design, or a marketing degree/diploma.
• Experience across both visual merchandising and store design or marketing a brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategic planning and coordination of new store builds and refurbishments with space design aligned to brand identities.
• Manage a full pipeline of stores, driving design and development of innovative spaces prioritising customer experience.
• Lead merchandising solutions development across the group for new retail ranges in all formats.
• Develop and implement processes to ensure merchandising standards are correctly applied group-wide.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead long-term strategic planning and coordinating of new store builds and refurbishments, focusing on physical space design as per the relevant brand identities and strategies of each brand.
• Manage a full pipeline of stores, leading the design and development of new and innovative physical spaces that prioritize customer experience and support operations, working within timelines set out by the Head of New Business.
• Lead the development of merchandising solutions across the group for new retail ranges within existing stores, across all formats, including traditional and non-traditional retail environments.
• Develop and implement processes and systems to ensure the correct implementation of all merchandising standards across the group, in all formats.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in visual merchandising and/or store design, or a marketing degree or diploma.
• Experience across both visual merchandising and store design or in marketing a brand.
