Job Description

Partner with Buying, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Property, and Store Teams to ensure the visual presentation of merchandise aligns with seasonal campaigns, customer trends, and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy aligned to the Mr Price Apparel brand and business objectives.

Customer Experience

• Create inspiring and engaging shopping environments that reflect the Mr Price Apparel brand DNA.
• Enhance the customer journey through effective product presentation, styling, and visual storytelling.
• Ensure consistent visual standards across all stores while evolving the store experience to meet changing customer expectations.

Space Planning & Store Design

• Lead the development of store layouts, merchandise adjacencies, and fixture strategies that maximize sales and productivity.
• Analyze sales, space productivity, and customer shopping behaviors to inform store design decisions.
• Oversee visual merchandising requirements for new stores, refurbishments, relocations, and concept developments.
• Recommend and implement innovative display solutions that support changing merchandise assortments and fashion trends.

Commercial Performance

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising initiatives through sales and KPI analysis.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve space allocation, product flow, and category performance.
• Manage project budgets and assess ROI on store investments and visual merchandising interventions.

Leadership & Capability Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Visual Merchandising team.
• Build visual merchandising capability within stores through training, communication, and ongoing support.
• Drive accountability for visual standards and execution excellence across the business.

Qualifications
