Job summary

Staffing-Jet is seeking a Production Control & Planning Controller to join its production team in the Western Cape. The role focuses on keeping production orders, SAP records and drawings up to date, while monitoring delays and reporting to management.

You will handle daily SAP operations, issue and retrieve production orders and dispatch lists, capture hours, track KPIs, support the PCP Manager reports, and coordinate with factory floor staff to ensure drawing control and document compliance.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent is required.
• Strong computer literacy including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• SAP experience is advantageous.
• Previous production planning/control or document control experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Completing daily production operations on SAP.
• Issuing and retrieving Production Orders and Dispatch Lists.
• Reporting completed orders to the Programmer.
• Capturing clock numbers and actual hours for Industrial Engineering.
• Monitoring and reporting production delays.
• Preparing daily delay indicators for management and supervisors.
• Tracking departmental KPIs and production performance.
• Assisting with PCP Manager reports.
• Support Factory Managers and Supervisors.
• Coordinating drawings, orders and production requirements.
• Conducting factory floor walkthroughs to ensure drawing control and document compliance.
• Managing engineering and revision drawings issued to the factory floor.
• Participating in daily PDR meetings.
• Monitoring factory delays and coordinating with Supervisors.
