Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented 3D Modeler to join its visualization team in Randburg. This hybrid role blends remote work with in-office collaboration at our Randburg studio, giving you the flexibility to craft realistic product visuals for marketing and design.

You will build high-fidelity models, create textures and shaders, and work with art directors and clients to translate concepts into compelling digital assets for campaigns and presentations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 3D Modeler with a product visualization portfolio.
• Proficiency in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar software.
• Strong topology, UV mapping, texturing, and material creation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replicate real-world objects.
• Experience in a hybrid team environment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D product models from references and CAD data.
• Develop textures, materials, and shaders for realism.
• Optimize models for rendering, animation, and real-time visualization.
• Collaborate with art directors and clients to meet project requirements.
• Assist in lighting and rendering setups to showcase offerings.
• Troubleshoot technical issues in modeling and asset creation.
