Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented 3D Modeler to join its visualization team in Randburg. This hybrid role blends remote work with in-office collaboration at our Randburg studio, giving you the flexibility to craft realistic product visuals for marketing and design.

You will build high-fidelity models, create textures and shaders, and work with art directors and clients to translate concepts into compelling digital assets for campaigns and presentations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a 3D Modeler with a product visualization portfolio.
• Proficiency in Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar software.
• Strong topology, UV mapping, texturing, and material creation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replicate real-world objects.
• Experience in a hybrid team environment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for creating realistic and compelling 3D models of products for marketing, advertising, and design purposes. The ideal candidate possesses a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D modeling software and a keen eye for detail, form, and material accuracy. You will work closely with art directors, designers, and clients to translate concepts into high-fidelity digital assets, playing a critical role in how products are presented to the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality, detailed 3D models of products based on reference images, CAD data, and design specifications.
• Develop accurate textures, materials, and shaders to achieve realistic product appearances.
• Optimize 3D models for various applications, including rendering, animation, and real-time visualization.
• Collaborate with art directors and clients to understand project requirements and ensure models meet aesthetic and technical standards.
• Participate in lighting and rendering setups to showcase models effectively.
