Unique opportunity for a Product Manager to own and drive products at the core of FX trading and stablecoin infrastructure for our scaling global money movement and FX platform client in Cape Town.

In this role, you will help define, build, and scale systems that move money across fiat and stablecoin rails, unlock liquidity in emerging markets, and power cross-border financial products. You will work in a fast-moving, ambiguous scale-up environment where ownership, bias for action, and strong judgment matter. You’ll partner closely with Engineering to ship highly technical products, and with Treasury, Compliance, and Commercial teams to ensure what is built works in the real world.

The ideal candidate has built technical, financial infrastructure products from scratch, ideally in FX, crypto, or payments. Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of FX trading workflows, liquidity management, settlement, and pricing by working closely with customers, treasury, and commercial teams
• Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for FX and stablecoin-related products and partnerships, including APIs and internal tooling
• Work hands-on with engineers to design and ship high-scale, high-reliability systems
• Own product decisions that directly impact revenue, margins, and working capital efficiency
• Navigate ambiguity and drive execution across ideation, build, launch, and iteration
• Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, compliance, data, and sales to move products from concept to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience from a top-tier university
• 5-6 years in a product role in the fintech infrastructure/FX/crypto/stablecoin space
• Strong domain knowledge in FX trading, treasury, payments, or financial infrastructure
• Experience building B2B SaaS or API-first products
• Proven ability to ship complex, technical systems at scale
• High ownership mentality with a strong bias for action
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing startup environments
• Experience working with stablecoins, crypto infrastructure, or on/off-ramps
• Exposure to liquidity providers, exchanges, or market-making systems
• Strong technical intuition around systems, data models, and developer experience
• Background in fintech, trading, or cross-border payments
