Job summary

Absa Bank Limited is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions that streamline business processes and deliver scalable digital initiatives across the organization.

You will customize Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP APIs, configure objects and security, and implement integrations with external systems. Strong collaboration, testing, and DevOps participation are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 3+ years Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, flows and APIs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, LWC, Visualforce and APIs.
  • Configure objects, fields, layouts, workflows, and security settings.
  • Design integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Build automation with Flow and Process Builder; write unit tests and ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with analysts, admins, and stakeholders; support release management and DevOps.

Job Summary

Design, develop, test, and maintain Salesforce solutions that support business processes, improve user experience, and enable scalable digital initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Build automation using Flow, Process Builder (where applicable), and Apex triggers.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to maintain required code coverage.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, administrators, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in release management, deployment activities, and DevOps processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years Salesforce development experience (adjust based on seniority).
  • Strong knowledge of: Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce SOQL/SOSL Salesforce Flows Salesforce Security Model Experience with Salesforce integrations and APIs.
  • Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Salesforce Integration Architect (preferred for senior roles)
