Job summary

Solenya is seeking its first Product Designer to shape the product experience from day one. You’ll work directly with the founding team, engineers, data scientists and customers to transform complex data and AI into intuitive experiences for merchants.

You’ll own the design direction, build foundations of the design system, and create polished demos for customers and investors while balancing simplicity with powerful functionality.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio showing complex product thinking and excellent UX.
• Experience designing dashboards, analytics tools or data-rich applications.
• Experience simplifying complex workflows and information.
• Strong understanding of information architecture and interaction design.
• Experience designing in Figma, including interactive prototypes and component libraries.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve Solenya's merchant portal for intuitive configuration, monitoring and optimisation.
• Design dashboards and workflows to help merchants make better decisions.
• Transform complex data into intuitive dashboards and visualisations for merchants.
• Design AI-powered search, recommendation and merchandising experiences.
• Prototype new ways for users to explore large product catalogues.
• Collaborate with customers to understand decision processes and missing information.
• Build polished demos for customers and investors.
• Create interfaces balancing simplicity with powerful functionality.

Solenya is building the AI infrastructure layer for modern e-commerce. We help merchants better match products to customers so shoppers can discover the right products faster. This drives higher revenue, stronger engagement and better customer lifetime value.

We’re an early-stage team working closely with leading retailers and marketplaces to shape the future of AI-driven commerce.

We’re now looking for our first Product Designer to help us create products that merchants love and shoppers enjoy using.

The Role

We’re looking for a thoughtful, curious designer who enjoys solving difficult product problems.

You’ll work directly with the founding team, engineers, data scientists and customers to transform complex data and AI into intuitive experiences. You’ll design products that transform complex AI and data into intuitive experiences, helping merchants make better decisions while creating next-generation shopping experiences for consumers.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply receive tickets from Product. You’ll help shape what we build, test ideas with customers, and bring them to life.

This is a high-impact, early-stage role where you’ll have significant ownership over the product experience.

What You’ll Do

You don’t need to have worked in AI before, but you should be excited about designing products that make AI feel intuitive and useful.

Backgrounds That Could Be a Great Fit

We’re open to a range of backgrounds, including:

• Product Designer at a B2B SaaS company
• Designer of analytics, BI or operational software
• Data visualisation or dashboard designer
• UX designer working on AI or machine learning products

We’re less focused on titles and more focused on curiosity, product thinking and exceptional design.
