About the Role

This senior role is responsible for managing significant procurement projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of heavy machinery, construction equipment, and specialized plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale capital expenditure projects, complex contract negotiations, and strategic supplier relationships within the construction or engineering sectors. This is a key leadership position with significant responsibility for ensuring the company has the necessary assets to execute its projects successfully. You will lead a team of procurement specialists, develop procurement strategies, and manage supplier performance to achieve optimal outcomes. Requirements

• Demonstrated success in managing multi-million rand capital procurement projects.
• Expertise in complex contract negotiation, risk management, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong understanding of the capital equipment market, particularly within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and project management tools.
