Responsibilities

• Spend and cost analysis: extract, clean, model procurement spend data.
• Identify maverick spending and deliver cost-reduction/avoidance strategies.
• Maintain valid scorecards/affidavits and audit scores.
• Tender & Sourcing: build evaluation models for RFIs, RFQs, RFPs.
• Benchmark pricing and assess supplier bids; monitor SLAs and renewals.
• Develop automated dashboards (Power BI/Excel) reporting on spend, savings, and lead times.

Our well established global engineering client in Bellville client is looking for a Procurement Analyst that analyses organizational spend data, identifies cost‑saving opportunities, and monitors supplier performance. You will focus on tracking and optimizing Procurement spend to ensure compliance with the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.

Salary R 50 000 R 60 000 CTC all included – This is an EE position ONLY

Min Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, or Data Analytics.
• CIPS qualification/membership is an advantage.
• 5 years plus of experience in procurement analysis, spend analysis, or strategic sourcing in South Africa.
• 2 years managerial experience of managing 3 staff
• Experience from an Engineering, Manufacturing, Fabrication, Production or machinery – essential
• Local and International Sourcing Buying experience
• Experience with Imports and exports
• Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, Modeling).

• Reporting Timelines - On‑time delivery of monthly procurement analytics packs.
