About the Role

As a Process Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring a semi-automated chemical production process used to manufacture polyol, a key raw material in advanced insulation products.

Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll help ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining the highest quality standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring a semi-automated chemical reactor process

• Performing quality checks and basic laboratory analyses on raw materials and finished products

• Adjusting process parameters to optimise production and product quality

• Safely unloading tankers and handling chemical raw materials

• Completing production records and batch documentation accurately

• Identifying process deviations and implementing corrective actions

• Supporting maintenance teams during equipment servicing and repairs

• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised production environment

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production department

We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A qualification in Chemistry (Graduate Chemie, Bachelor Chemie, or equivalent)

• Experience within a chemical manufacturing, process, or production environment (advantageous)

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility

• Basic computer literacy for production reporting and process monitoring

• A strong commitment to safety and quality standards

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

Candidate Requirements

• South African citizen

• Qualified in Chemistry or a related field

• Willing and able to relocate to Belgium

• Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)

• Available to work a rotating 3-shift system

Language Requirement

Afrikaans proficiency is essential for this opportunity.
