As a Process Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and monitoring a semi-automated chemical production process used to manufacture polyol, a key raw material in advanced insulation products.
Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you'll help ensure safe, efficient production while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
Operating and monitoring a semi-automated chemical reactor process
Performing quality checks and basic laboratory analyses on raw materials and finished products
Adjusting process parameters to optimise production and product quality
Safely unloading tankers and handling chemical raw materials
Completing production records and batch documentation accurately
Identifying process deviations and implementing corrective actions
Supporting maintenance teams during equipment servicing and repairs
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised production environment
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production department
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
A qualification in Chemistry (Graduate Chemie, Bachelor Chemie, or equivalent)
Experience within a chemical manufacturing, process, or production environment (advantageous)
Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility
Basic computer literacy for production reporting and process monitoring
A strong commitment to safety and quality standards
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
South African citizen
Qualified in Chemistry or a related field
Willing and able to relocate to Belgium
Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)
Available to work a rotating 3-shift system
Afrikaans proficiency is essential for this opportunity.
