Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a process engineering role within chemical manufacturing.
• Experience with process control systems and data acquisition.
• Knowledge of chemical reaction engineering, thermodynamics and separation processes.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in chemical plants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Process simulation software is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze process performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement process changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve safety.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth operation and troubleshooting of process issues.
• Participate in design and commissioning of new equipment and process modifications.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
