A strong background in mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, or pyrometallurgy and proven ability to apply chemical engineering principles is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in mineral processing or extractive metallurgy within the mining industry.
• Experience with flotation, leaching, smelting, or refining; pilot plant and lab testing; process modeling.

Responsibilities

• Optimize metallurgical process parameters to maximize metal recovery and concentrate grade.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve plant performance.
• Conduct pilot plant trials and laboratory test work to evaluate new processes or reagents.
• Develop and maintain process models and mass/element balances.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure process operations comply with safety and environmental regulations.
