Job summary

Heineken Beverages (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer based in Springs to join the Engineering team. The role focuses on applying engineering expertise to optimize production processes, improve equipment performance, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary projects, perform detailed analyses, and collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Operations to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (BTech/BEng).
• 5-8 years experience in engineering roles.
• Demonstrated project ownership with measurable technical contributions and field exposure.
• Leadership ability and ability to facilitate problem solving in a team forum.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed mass and energy balances to verify process capability and support optimization.
• Develop, maintain, and analyse PFDs and P&IDs to support process understanding and modifications.
• Lead and support capital and operational projects, including design reviews, contractor management, FATs/SATs, and commissioning.
• Perform operational analysis of equipment and processes, including downtime studies and performance benchmarking.
• Drive the plant’s sustainability agenda and implement best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Safety, and Operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
