Job summary

Together Staffing group is seeking a Process Engineer for a food/beverage manufacturing facility in the Western Cape. You will analyse and improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include implementing optimisation strategies, analysing trends, leading improvement projects, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. A background in HACCP/GMP is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric and a BTech Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years experience in process engineering in food/beverage industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and relevant food manufacturing standards advantageous.

• Develop and implement process optimisation strategies across beverage manufacturing operations.
• Analyse production trends, process data, and key performance indicators.
• Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and recurring losses.
• Lead process improvement and continuous improvement projects.
• Support process validation, trials, commissioning, and equipment optimisation.
• Develop standard operating procedures and process specifications.
• Provide technical support to production and engineering teams.
• Ensure process improvements align with food safety and quality requirements.
• Measure and report on the impact of process improvement initiatives.
