Job summary

Watershed Consulting is seeking a Process Engineer on a contract basis in Sandton with hybrid work arrangement (minimum three days onsite). The candidate should have ITIL certification and 2-3 years of process engineering experience, focusing on documenting and improving IT and security-related processes.

Responsibilities include mapping, documenting, and improving IT service processes and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• ITIL certification is mandatory.
• 2-3 years of experience in process engineering, process analysis or similar IT process roles.
• Experience with Software Asset Management, access control processes, service management and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Extract, map and document business processes related to Software Asset Management, Access Management and Security Access Management.
• Capture end-to-end Service Management processes including incident, problem, change and configuration workflows.
• Document Disaster Recovery and business continuity processes and identify gaps.
• Work with stakeholders across IT, security, and business units to validate process flows and requirements.
• Develop clear process documentation, procedures, and visual process maps (BPMN/Visio).
• Recommend process improvements, controls and remediation actions to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Support implementation of process changes and assist with user training and adoption activities.
• Ensure processes align with ITIL best practices and organizational governance requirements.
