You will play a key part in optimizing reaction conditions, troubleshooting scale-up challenges, and ensuring that processes are safe, efficient, and environmentally sound. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in both chemistry and chemical engineering principles and is adept at bridging the gap between research and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize chemical synthesis routes and manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Conduct experiments at laboratory and pilot scales to determine optimal operating parameters and identify potential scale-up issues.
• Perform process hazard analyses and implement safety protocols for new processes.
• Collaborate with R&D chemists, analytical chemists, and plant engineers to ensure successful process transfer.
• Troubleshoot process-related issues encountered during development, scale-up, and initial production runs.
• Document all experimental work and process development findings comprehensively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry , Chemical Engineering , or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process development, scale-up, or manufacturing within the chemical or pharmaceutical industry.
