About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Process Design Engineer to contribute to their growing operations in Polokwane . This role focuses on the conceptualization, design, and implementation of new and improved industrial processes. You will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and product quality. Working closely with project teams and operational staff, you will ensure that new process designs are robust, scalable, and meet all regulatory requirements. This is a key position for an engineer passionate about designing efficient systems within the developing industrial landscape of Limpopo .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual designs for new industrial processes and systems.
• Create detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform process simulations and calculations to validate design parameters.
• Conduct hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) and risk assessments for new designs.
• Collaborate with equipment vendors and engineering disciplines to ensure design integrity.
• Oversee the implementation and commissioning of new process installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
