Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in control systems.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in process control engineering in the chemical or related industries.
• Proficiency with major DCS platforms (Honeywell Experion, Emerson DeltaV) and PLC programming.
• Strong understanding of control theory, instrumentation and industrial automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced APC strategies, including MPC and fuzzy logic systems.
• Configure and commission DCS and PLC for new and existing processes.
• Develop and maintain control narratives, P&IDs, and instrumentation specifications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing control loops to improve process performance, stability, and product quality.
• Collaborate with process engineers and operators to identify opportunities for automation and control improvements.
• Stay current with advancements in control system technology and recommend adoption of new tools and techniques.
