Job summary

Investec is seeking a Sales/Growth Banker to originate, acquire new affluent clients, and onboard them into the Private Suite. The role focuses on presenting the Investec value proposition, understanding client needs, and delivering holistic solutions from origination to onboarding.

The position requires experience in Private Banking, strong sales capability, and the ability to manage end-to-end client onboarding with a view to long-term entrenchment. A robust CRM discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years financial services experience with a strong sales and origination track record.
• Proficiency in analysing financial statements and structuring lending solutions.
• Deep understanding of Private Banking products and client needs.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; entrepreneurial and strategic thinker.

Responsibilities

• Originate and convert leads to onboard new Private Banking clients.
• Present the full Private Banking offering to prospective clients.
• Conduct needs analysis and tailor solutions to client goals and lifestyle.
• Own end-to-end lead-to-onboard conversion pipeline and ensure timely actioning of leads.
• Drive lending growth through first-line credit assessment and structuring of deals.
• Build market presence through networking and partnerships.
