Job summary

Cytel is seeking a Senior/Principal Statistical Programmer to work remotely on global pharmaceutical projects. You will independently lead programming for SDTM/ADaM deliverables, develop SAS/R solutions, and supervise CROs to ensure high-quality outputs and timely submissions.

The role requires a strong SAS background, CDISC expertise, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, mathematics or statistics preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a Statistical Programmer in Biotech/Pharma clinical development.
• Exceptional SAS programming skills and experience with clinical development environments.
• Experience supporting regulatory submissions and interacting with regulatory authorities.
• Ability to work independently with strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate SDTM, ADaM specifications and datasets, reviewer's guides and define.xml files for multiple studies.
• Develop SAS programs to create datasets, complex listings, tables and graphs.
• Deliver high-quality SAS/R programs tailored to clinical development needs.
• Oversee CRO programming deliverables to ensure timelines and quality.
• Support preparation of clinical study reports, regulatory submissions and publications.
• Follow FDA regulations and GCP for electronic submissions.
• Develop and validate standards for programming tools, outputs and macros.
• Collaborate with CROs, vendors and partners to meet project goals.
